There are 2 places where e-mail address are kept, @Cmfrank
In your self-serve, it's your USERNAME. It can only be changed by contacting Customer Support Agents. It's important to know that users can still log in even when their e-mail account is not accessible as it's just a username - doesn't need to be associated with an active/working e-mail account.
The other place is your Community e-mail. It can be found under your Avatar to the right of the envelope icon upper right, then down to My Settings. Users can change it there themselves.
It's good to have the associated Community account e-mail match the self-serve account e-mail for customer support purposes.
