I switched my plan to change on renewal date. It looked all along that it would but it didn’t. I still have my old plan.

sometimes it is just a cache problem. Check again using browser with Incognito mode
and when you are in My Account, confirm payment history transaction to see what amount PM took for renewal, new or old plan amount?
