I brought my son over to PM and last night he told me his cell phone (Apple) is displaying this SOS message and
his phone is locked, he can't use it. He said he was trying to do a SIM Pin and the phone got locked. He says he needs a PUK code to unlock his phone. Does anyone on this Forum know how to help him. My son cannot call PM because he can't get the EverSafe code as the phone is now locked so not usable. Does anyone know how to help with this situation? Thank you

lol ??? Not sure how much help your previous reply is when it doesn't explain anything. Just - went into a store and someone did something. How is that any help?

Bravo! You can read between the lines. I think you can figure it out on your own. Now move along, this
exchange is done.

That's great news. And interesting. Who did the guy call and what did they do? What did he say was really happening? We all would also like to know the lesson for those other people you want to help.

Update, and this is to help other people if they experience this and they will, my son in another city, got his phone eventually fixed by walking in a storefront and the fellow who worked there made a quick phone call and had it usable in minutes. He told my son what he felt was really happening to his phone and said he gets quite a few people lately coming in with this issue. PM I believe knows as well. Replies on this thread that are not constructive will not be addressed. No need to reply to this - the phone is now fixed. There is a lesson to be learned here with PM.

Because my son's phone is locked and unusable right now, do you know how he can email the PM Agent from his computer directly? He cannot get into the PM website as he needs the use of his phone to receive the 2 step authentication EverSafe digit code to enter to get in. Is there another magical way for him to send the wizards an email?

There's a lesson in fiddling with things if you can't back out of them. 🙂 Can't he type in whatever sim pin he made up? You or he will need to contact support. If the son is a minor then tell them that. You should be able to do all the business here. Not a minor. But you might get some pushback.

@snorkellady7 - puk code could mean a few things. Hopefully this link can help you determine which Puk message you are receiving and how to solve it:
