Activated with a new phone number and installed esim but errored out in step 6 of activation. Logged out and back in and it asked me to choose a new number which it then says there's an error during activation and asks me to retry.

if you deleted the esim, usually you need to pay $5 to rebuy a new one
but since it is new activation, there is a chance support agent can offer a free replacement. Please engage support here:

Unfortunately I deleted the esim with hopes to reinstall it but now the esim is not shown.

the esim could have been installed already but just not properly setup on the phone
Please check the Sim Manager or the Settings > Cellular screen to see a Public Mobile sim there. If you see it there, make sure it is enabled, or on iPhone, make sure it is set as Primary and "Turn on this line" is on
