Cannot update auto-payment credit card "unable to process transaction.."

hi,

- recently moved + new credit card (authorized this morning) + new billing address

- updated profile address, but unable update visa info (repeated attempts):

- "Sorry, credit card transaction denied by your card issuer...."

- Visa says all good their end..other online pymts are working fine w/ new card + address

 

Any ideas, thanks

@mdbeer - after waiting then trying again were you able to get the new card added to your account with new address?

Ensure what your online credit card address is listed as is the same as any paper document you received in the mail from your card provider.

 

Go to the Payment TAB and go to the bottom, left to remove the old card, and add the new one.

If you have tried twice already you have to wait one full hour before trying again. Double check your official Canada Post address with your card billing statement address. You are missing something little....

To pre-verify your account include your full name, address, email, phone # and 4 digit acct pin #.

Wait about an hour. No space in postal code or don't include the last number. Match the billing address of the credit card. Maybe all caps. Maybe just street address if you have a unit #.

Only do a couple tries per hour.
