Trying to transfer eSIM from iPhone 11 to 13 and iPhone 13 says sim transfer is not supported. How do I fix this?

hi @Thomas261

no , you don't need to buy a  different plan.  You just download the app on the new phone, go to Account page and then buy sim from there and pick esim.

So I have to purchase a new plan?

Unfortunately you can’t transfer the eSIM to another phone.
You will need to download the PM app on the iPhone 13 then login to your account and purchase a new eSIM for $5.

Free eSIM are for new activations and not for existing members.

Unfortunately, Public mobile eSIM can’t be transferred, you need to buy a new eSIM on the new iPhone 13 using the app, the good news, it’s free.

@Thomas261 , how did you do the transfer?  I think you need to install the app on the new phone and purchase a new e-SIM which cost nothing.
