I am caught in a circle because I cannot receive an sms message from Public Mobile, and as such cannot validate my eversafe ID. I also cannot receive income calls from Public Mobile.
I wanted to open a ticket, but to do that I have to prove identification by recieving a code by sms or vm. And this is. not working. Note that I can receive email codes.
Part of the problem I believe, is that I activated the E-SIM before receiving a confirmation SMS from Rogers, to authorize the release of the number. (I never recieved a request from Rogers).
Exhausting, Now I am caught between getting a second request sent to out to Rogers to release the Number and to recieve a release request from Rogers, But I cannot send a second request because I cannot validate the account
Round and Round

Just wanted to add that when I finally figured out how to change my iPhone back to Rogers, and received the port confirmation SMS message from Rogers, it was of course two late as you have 90 min to reply, BUT... If you message back "1" in reply, they will resend the port confirmation. Thanks, everyone for the help.

The SIM is an eSim, and yes I can move to the Rogers e-sim as you are suggesting but I cannot get SMS messages from anyone when I do that I tried already, So I am assuming Rogers will not be able to send a porting confirmation. I will call Rogers when they open tomorrow

Hello.
If you click on didn't get the code, there may be an option to send to your email. If that option isn't there then you need to contact an agent to resolve it. However, you can create a ticket this way as well.

You have to keep your Rogers SIM card or eSIM on your phone to accept the text. If you already deleted the Rogers eSIM, contact Rogers ASAP and inform them you've ported to pm and tell them their eSIM is deleted and to manually accept the port request.

I will send you a message to call to check on the port. I'm not sure if they are open today.
Ensure that you put back your previous SIM in your phone when you are ready to request the port again.
