Hi,
I ported my number from Fido last week, and have activated my SIM as well as unlocked my IPhone.
My account says that I am active, and I am able to make calls and send text messages, but cannot recieve either, when people call me it says my number is not in service. What to do?

Try the lost/stolen feature.
Log in to self-serve. Plan & Add-Ons from top menu. Lost/Stolen Phone from next menu. Suspend Service button. Log out. Wait a few minutes. Log back in and back to Lost/Stolen Phone and Resume Service this time. Log out. Restart phone.
See what happens.

It sounds like you're in the middle of the number transfer (or port). These things can take some time. In the meantime, you can likely still use your old SIM on your old service until it stops. When it stops then you'll know the port is done. Then put in the Public Mobile SIM and you should be good to go.
