2 weeks ago my 2 teens switched to Public from Bell. They followed the process to port their numbers BUT tossed out their Bell SIM cards! The porting of the number did not work now they have Public Mobile but cannot receive a call. It is a safety issue for them as they have health issues and not be able to receive calls. I need to clear this up today or I need to go back to Bell. I don't want to go back to Bell.

@ElaineB please clarify did you port your number from bell or do you have a new number with Public?

If you did not respond to the port request text from Bell within 90 minutes, you will need to try the port again. I will private message you the Telus porting number and they can help restart the process.
Leave your Bell SIM card in your phone until you receive that text.

Did you follow and complete the porting procedure? Bell account was still in good standing, Left your bell sim in the phone and replied YES to the porting text?
