Cannot login to account to update payment subscription evergreen sending 2fa text but number disconn

Hi Public Mobile Support,

 

I cannot login to update my payment method to renew my subscription since the number is now disconnected / deactivated and eversafe insists on sending a text message to my registered number after email 2fa authentication but the number is obviously out of service. I need some support to update my credit card details and ensure I can retain my phone number! ... How can I do this?

Thanks for the suggestions I tried both workarounds and it still fails I don't get an option for email 2fa for eversafe ID it insists on sending a 2fa to the phone number. I have emailed support hoping for some assistance. Thanks again!

Thanks but I should have mentioned I am out of the country until March 2024 so unfortunately this is not an option.

Thanks for the reply. But I don't get the option for "Didn't get the code?" Its only 'Resend Code' option ... an infinite loop.

If you sign on using the public mobile app or a desktop you will have the option to click didn’t receive code and sent to email.

Have you login to My Account since EverSafe was introduced couple months ago?

If you have already created an EverSafe id, you can ask the code to send to email instead
On the screen it is expecting you to enter the code, click Didn't get the code? or  Resend code and then choose Send email

If you have not created an EverSafe id yet,  you won't be able complete the part to link your My Account with the EverSafe ID, that needs a working phone with a working PM sim using SMS.  (Sending the code to email would not be a choice until  EverSafe id is fully setup) 

Try these workarounds, it could bypass the SMS in linking My Account with EverSafe ID

  1. Reset your password to self service account. Once reset, sign in again with new password. Might be able to receive 2FA via email instead to gain access.
    (!!!You will need to click Resend Code and then Send email to trigger the 2FA to email)
  2. Potential workaround (for some): If you don't have access to SMS OTP, try entering an incorrect OTP code 4 times. For some individuals, this is giving the option of an email instead.

@Sachpmo  Been issues with updating credit card you can but payment vouchers form 7-11 shoppers shell gas or recharge.com and load it *611 to resume services right away 

or get support to help
