if payment has already come out for the new plan, you've likely changed plans successfully. Did you opt for Change Now or Change on Renewal ? You can try logging in on your laptop to see if the change has been made. If using the mobile app; shut down your cell, restart and log in again to see if the plan has been changed.

Did you use Change Now option? You sure you want to Change Now and not Change on Renewal?
Try again in a day if you can wait , or try using PM app and try using browser with incognito mode
