Hi , wondering if anyone can help. Signed up for an account with public mobile, tried to port old number from previous carrier. Found out afterwards that must have old sim in phone to accept port. Sim card lost, what can I do as I cannot accept it

@JudyW this is not something Public Mobile can help. The sim part and the text is a procedure your old provider follows to avoid SIM fraud. However, call your old provider back, some might take a verbal approval on the phone.
Once you sorted that out with your old provider, then call PM porting team to retrigger the porting request. I will send you the porting team phone number in private message. Check your Community inbox on top right
