@gracejoy, if your Public Mobile account/phone number is still active, you can call 611 to remove autopay.
Then (if you are not porting out the phone number) after 90 days of being in suspended status you will automatically lose the account and phone number.

Hi @gracejoy
Login to your self serve account, click payment tab, click manage my card on bottom left, and remove auto pay.
EDIT: Beyond canceling auto-payment, there's really nothing else to do. If you are going to port your phone number to another provider soon after canceling auto-pay, it should be a seamless process and once the port is complete, your Public Mobile account will permanently deactivate.
