I simply want to cancel my eSIM and order a physical sim instead. How do I do that please!

You don’t need to cancel eSIM. Once you have the SIM. Just login to your account and go to Account tab>Change Your SIM Card with the new SIM S/N and everything in your account will be switched to the SIM.

what is the issue with your esim? does it activate correct and works?
if it is activation problem, check if you see the esim installed, and make sure it is enabled or toggled on Turn on this line
if it is connection problem, you can also Reset network settings on the phone

It's probably faster to purchase a physical SIM card from Amazon. They have 2 kinds, the $4.99 one is just the same as the $9.99 one. Or purchase from a local Telus/Koodo/Mobile Klink store that sells them for $10+.
If you purchase from PM it will be could be at least 20 business days to receive it.
Then message PM agents at the link below to help you to switch and update the SIM card number.
