Canada/US talk-text-data plan with esim

I just switched from one Public Mobile plan to the a new one with Canada/US talk-text-data.  Is there anything I need to do to use this in the US or is it just automatic.  I ask because it also stated the plsn came with a free esim which made me think there was something more I had to do?

esim of for new signups. If you already have a PM sim you are fine.

Also, depending on which phone you are using, you can check if it is on Public Mobile's white list of device that are working with VoLTE. If your phone is not on the list you may experience issues with calling/receiving calls. If so, you'll need to connect to T-Mobile as they are the only ones in the US that still has 2G, 3G is no longer working in the US

Scroll towards the bottom for a list of VoLTE-roaming enabled devices:

@tofupunx you need to have your Data Roaming turned on. Pretty much everything else should work the same. However, if you are having issues with connecting or making calls make sure you are connecting to either T-Mobile or AT&T, 4G preferably as AT&T is not sharing their 5G with us
