Canada + US plan

Hi, I'm wondering if the phone plan can can be used in the US and Canada. I live in both countries and go back and forth for school or work reasons. I was wondering if this plan can call, text and the data can be used within both countries seamlessly. Also, can an existing phone number be transferred to Public? Even if it's an US number?

Public Mobile plans marketed as being Canada-US plans can be used in either country.  However, a Public Mobile account can only have a Canadian phone number assigend to it.

then Canada-US plans are perfect for you.  You can use your service in both Canada and US and can call US from Canada or call Canada from US
