Canada-US messaging

My plan has unlimited Canada-US messaging and calling. Does that include making call or texting while I am in the USA?

Most phones that I have seen do not have a specific roaming setting, but one that is rather only for data roaming. Data roaming doesn't need to be enabled for either phone calls or SMS text messaging.

You’ll also want to ensure your Roaming is toggled on in US, @MennoKnight24 

In fact, you can leave that on as there’s no roaming fees or surprise charges here on prepaid service.

I was just in the US a month ago and had the $34 Can/US plan with 50GB. I abused it like a rented army mule. I made a ton of calls to friends and family in the US while I was there. I also made a ton of calls back home to Canada and texting too. I also did a TON of FaceTime. Use it and enjoy it!! 

EDIT: Just know, when you get into the US, you may need to reboot your phone. If you have issues, you may need to go into your network settings and turn off Automatic and choose T-Mobile as I've had nothing but success on that network. Oh, and then reboot after you picked T-Mobile. 🙂

Ensure you have a VoLTE enabled phone and can connect to 4G or LTE.
