Can't activate two SIM cards on same account?

Hey I'm looking to get a second Public Mobile account going for another phone I'd like to pay for.

It seems like I have to create a brand new account with a brand new email in order to be able to do this?

Once doing so, can I use the same credit card information?

And why would it work this way? Why couldn't I just add multiple SIM cards to one account and paymentmethod?

Just wanted to confirm here. Thanks.

@amarn031  yes,  you can use the same credit card on both account to pay.  No  problem with them.

.. it would be better if the 2 plans do not renew on the same night with the same amount.   Some credit card might see 2 "same" transaction and might decline.  If you are certain they are different renewal date or amount is different, it will generally be ok.

.. and yes.. PM has a relatively simple system, one account one phone line.

@amarn031     In addition to using the same CC to pay for both accounts, which shouldn't be an issue unless renewal for both accounts falls on the same day which might trigger some fraud alert with the CC company (I've used one card for more than one account and never had a problem), you can also try using an alias for the email instead of a different email altogether, i.e., for John@gmail... try John+J@gmail.   All the emails will go to your first account.  You can also use the same login password for both accounts to make it a little easier to remember the login info.

@amarn031 : It's just how it is. Yes you can use the same payment card for multiple accounts. Watch for same night renewals where the card might think a fraud is happening.
