I have a credit balance with Telus that I don't want to lose - so I'm using two phone #s right now. I want to switch to PM only - can I transfer my Telus credit balance to PM - given its the same company?

If your Telus pay and talk balance is $100 or more you can transfer funds to another Pay&talk account that is linked to yours.
Telus insists on maintaining $50 in your account you transfer from.
There is a minimum $50 amount to transfer.
For smaller amounts of $30 or less you can text message a donation to select registered charities. This is limited to $30 in 30 consecutive days. www.mobilegiving.ca for options.
Note that the above must be done PRIOR transfer of your phone number, otherwise your account closed and your entire balance is donated to Telus.
For other balances you will have to wait until consumed.

@JanP If you transfer your Telus number to PM, that will automatically close your Telus account.

Thanks. Thought this would be the case.

As @kav2001c stated above, just cancel Telus That's providing your Telus phone is paid off. If not you'll have to pay the remaining balance on the phone.

@JanP if Telus phone is postpaid cancel it & Telus will refund the money
If Telus phone is prepaid then no you can not get the credits back

@@JanP I don't think it is possible.
