Can I get$25 credit for me and my referral?

Yesterday my friend sent $25 credit referral information for me ,he mentioned for me must be online open new account,so I went to Walmart asked customer service about $25 credit referral ,he told me open new public Mobile account in Walmart or you bought SIM card go home open new account are same thing,both the process is on the computer ,so I agreed his suggestions ,but today I saw only $10credit in my public Mobile account ,anyone can tell me how could I get $25 credit?thanks

Dang this peeves me. Here you are trying to do everything right having all the right information to do it right and some idiot mis-informs you and leads you down the wrong path that will not net you both the $25 promo. What a waste.

Yeah like Walmart would say oh sorry here's your $15 and here's your friends $25. That is about the only way for anything to be made right. 'Cuz it ain't Public Mobile's fault.

I guess you should have asserted that you really knew more than the clerk and that all you wanted was the SIM. But then those b@st@rds have been known not to sell just a SIM when they're supposed to. Dang!

The WM rep was lying.  Although the form is the same, but with his dealer login, your activation became in-store activation.  Instead of refusing to sell SIM only, the WM rep was tricking you to activate at store in order to get the commission.

As far as PM is concern, it is a fact that  you activated a plan at store and you were credited with $10.  You should ask the WM rep for compensation.

According to their announcement, this is how to get the $25 referral credit.

Taking advantage of this promo is easy. Just follow these steps:

As a Public Mobile customer you need to:

1. Be a good pal and refer a friend to Public Mobile.
2. Tell your friend that they need to successfully activate online on a 30 or 90-day plan during the promotional period and include you as their referrer in order to be eligible for the promotion.
3. The one-time $25 credit will be applied to your Self-Serve account within 72 hours of your friend’s online activation. In addition, you will continue to be eligible for the $1 referral credit off your monthly bill for as long as your friend stays with Public Mobile.

Your friend will need to:

1. Activate a Public Mobile SIM card online on any 30 or 90-day plan at activate.publicmobile.ca.
2. Enter your active Public Mobile phone number on the referral page during the activation process. Be sure they enter your number and not their own so you get credit for the referral.
3. The one-time $25 credit will be applied to their Self-Serve account within 72 hours of activation.

However, if you already did all those things and didn't get the proper credits, you could always contact the Moderator Team and they would properly get that sorted out for you.
