If possible can I have the following number on my new Public Mobile SIM card which I recently ordered: xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

This would help me a lot, thanks.

Is that already your number or was it your number before?

Is it a new Telus number?

If you already have that number you will be able to port, if you used to have it and it's not Telus number you would have to get it from the original provider. If it's Telus number you can attempts to get it while signing up. Look at the first 3 digits after the area code to determine exchange/town and try to locate it during activation. You would be able to pick last 4 digits if you menage to obtain those first 3 digits.

You cannot choose per say a specific number you would like, but a certain amount of available numbers are displayed depending upon your location.

As others have mentionned, should you want to keep your exisiting number, then you will have to proceed to port forwarding, an easy way to transfer your actual number.

Hope this helps - Stay safe

You can transfer your phone number or choose the last four digits.

Hi @arnav9

This is a PUBLIC forum.

Please remove the phone number from your post by clicking the 3 little dots and remove the number.  (unless an Oracle beats you to it)

You can choose the number if you're porting it from another service in your name, however getting that number may or may not be possible otherwise.

If you ARE porting the number from another service, be sure to have that other service's account number on hand during your Public Mobile activation.  It's the best way to ensure a more seamless port of a number.

During activation, you will be given the option to search for the last 4 digits of a phone number, but there isn't any way to search for a specific phone number. If this is a phone number that you already have active at another carrier, you can peform a phone number trasnfer to Public Mobile.
