I just switched to Public Mobile this afternoon. I can receive calls but no texts and, though my texts say sent, they are not being received. I have a Google Pixel 3A xl. I checked the Google Play store and there doesn't seem to be any issues with the messenger app. Thank you!

@LauraW , calls sort of work. Anyway, I suggest you check out this help article concerning porting. Call in to have your port resubmitted. Good luck and welcome to Public Mobile.

@LauraW if porting fails, you can't receive calls. Port failing doesn't block outgoing texts.

I didn't get a message from my previous provider. I probably changed my SIM card too quickly. Would calls still work though?

Did you get a text from previous cell phone provider confirming the port to PM?

I did port my number and I've rebooted my phone multiple times. Would I be able to receive calls if the number wasn't ported?

Yes, texting myself worked. But I'm not receiving texts and no is receiving my texts.

Did you port your number?
Have you rebooted your phone or reset network settings.

@LauraW if you text yourself, do you get it? If you do get it, problem is at other side for other outgiing messages. Do you receive texts?
