Calls Not Working

gcumming

Hello,

I am able to make calls but if anyone tries to call me, it tells them the number is not in service. When I first got public, the phone was working fine. But then started having issues about a month ago with not receiving calls. I can make them to others.

@gcumming if putting your PM sim in another does not resolve the issue, you will have to engage support for further investigation or another reprovision on the system.  Please message them here:

Yes the number is on the display and it is the correct number when I make calls.

Can still make outgoing calls no issue.

I will try the sim in a different phone now

@gcumming

 Male a call to your friend and ask them if the call display showing your number

And you have another phone around? Put your PM sim there and see if incoming works. It will force a sim re-provision and could resolve your issue

Tried rebooting and switching to 3G then called from another phone. Person calling still gets the message that number is not in service.

@gcumming

It sounds like a provisional issue with your SIM. Just private message a CS_Agent by clicking on the envelope icon on your computer. They will investigate the issue.

No - changed numbers when started Public in April. Haven't changed numbers since then. It worked initially without issue then stopped about a month ago.

Did you bring your number from another provider? Is your number still the number you think it should be? Like when you call someone is the number the number you expect?

Also, try to first reboot your phone, change the Preferred network to 3G Only and see if you can receive phone calls
