A few weeks ago, there was an issue with customer erroneously hearing a message about needing a roaming add-on when calling specific phone numbers.  This was even though the customers weren't raoming.  I was one of these customers. If that's the case, the issue isn't with any of your phone's settings but rather one with your account.  The good news is that at least in my case, the fix is a quick one for the customer support agents.

Are you near the US border?  What’s the number he is calling?

@Matin1982  If he  purchased US roaming and is in the US now he may need to reboot the phone and make sure he’s connected to T mobile for it to work and possible try different areas talk can be hit or miss .. also make check to see if his phone can support volte and if needed open a ticket to ask support to enable the volte if it’s not already ,,, I just went through this today infact myself
