Calling works for all numbers except one

I am trying to access the voicemail on my office phone, by calling in through my cell phone. When I dial the number to remotely access my office voicemail, I get an automated message from Public Mobile saying talk is not included in my plan.

Talk is included in my plan; I still have minutes remaining. The call is not long distance. I can call literally any other number except this one.

Are you on one of the older province-wide plans by chance? I've read some posts from others on these forums lately regarding calls failing. The issue seems to be with the Public Mobile system incorrectly classifying numbers that are in and out of province, and the workaround was to switch to one of the current equivalent "canada-wide" calling plans, which might actually be cheaper for you too.

@Teagan :Since the number you dialing is local, you should write private messages to moderator team find out why this number you can't dial - while you waiting, ask other people to try dialing this number from their phones to see if they can get through.

I presume the voicemail number you're calling is NOT based from a US number? ( if so, you cannot dial it from your public mobile service unless you have US calling)

If it's a Canadian area code, try manually dialing the number, using 1 - area code - xxx-xxxx

@Teagan Are you on a limited minutes plan? If so, you may be out of minutes and need to buy a 500 Cdn minutes for $5 add on. I should more closely read the post lol. Is the voicemail number just a generic "normal" number and area code? Any other cell has no issues calling into it either?

Try dialing the number manually. Don't use contact list method.
