Am I wrong? But is public mobile the only phone company cutting off our data, instead of putting it in low data mode!?

@Kiravanskiver Yes, unfortunately, it stops data when the limit is reached. I wish it could cut the speed instead. But who knows, maybe they will do it in the future!

Yup, unfortunately PM is the only without throttled/low speed data after your allotment is up..

couple things to note, most other companies that are doing that only started throttling recently data after overage. Before they would just charge you 5.00 a mB. and you would receive an 800.00 phone bill. Public is a prepaid service so its different then all these post paid plans as well.

@Kiravanskiver , you are correct that Public Mobile is the only tier 3 brand that doesn't have unlimited data. There are other brands that don't have unlimited data also. You chose covid-19 as the title. The above statements are not tied to the pandemic. It was like this before the pandemic.

PM is prepaid so once you reach your limit it stops. Other providers are post paid so they don't stop your data but throttle the speed.
