Is it a iphone? Go to your settings, scroll down to your browser, for example chrome and make sure the data switch is turned on. Do the same if your browser search engine is set for yahoo, bing or something else.

@GRachel, changing phone number should not affect data. Carefully look through the account to make sure that everything looks in order after the number change. As suggested, reboot the phone and if symptoms persist, report back and we will think of other suggestions in the mean time.

Did you confirm by logging into your account that your account is active and you have not used all of your data allotment

@GRachel first of all, please find the caps locks key on your keyboard. All caps is considered yelling online and is impolite.
To your issue: have you rebooted your phone since making the change? If not, please try that.
