My Public mobile number has always been 416.333.xxxx until last night someone hacked into my online account and successfully ported the number 416.698.xxxx to my account. Why ? I have no clue. Regardless I have now lost my original number being 416.333.xxxx and after exhaustive phone calls lasting 4 hours I was informed I am to ask the PUBLIC mobile division to cancel the port request as I do not own the number 416-698-xxxx nor did I ever want it ported. It is worthwhile to mention I have since changed my online portal password so that this doesn't happen again. However , I still need my old number back as all my banking and CRA and everything I own is verified through that number. Please the instructions I was gicven to state here was that the porting request for 416.698.xxxx should be cancelled and my old number 416.333.xxxx should be made available again and re-assigned to my account. I need someone's help urgently with this matter. Please can anyone help me?

Unusual situation.
How long have you been a PM customer? New customer who recently porting over within the last 3-4 weeks? Sometimes if the port is unsuccessful, Public mobile will assign you a temporary phone number a few weeks later.
