Bought 2 USA roaming phone/text data add-ons+ 500mb data

Hi, I had first purchased a 10-day phone/data/250mb add-on, after around 8 days the data ran out, so i bought extra usa data roaming add-on. When the original 10-day add-on ran out,  i bought another, but i think the extra data package i bought disappeared.  Is that how it is supposed to work? Be nice to know so it doesn't feel like a scam.

@pd154  my uderstanding is that the addons are seperate so they should stack.  you just can't purchase 2 of the same addons within the 10 day time
