Hi,
I have 2 connections and both being on $40 plan, I am being charged more than $40 each month on both. Both had auto-pay from day 1 ($2 reward)
As off today,
First number has $2 auto-pay, $1 referral and $1 loyalty reward = $4 in total (plan cost $40-$4 = $36)
Second number has $2 auto-pay and $1 loyalty reward = $4 in total (plan cost $40-$3 = #37)
Below is the PM statement showing $36 was charged which is not true as per the bank statement below

That descriptor used in the Make a Payment screen should be mirrored in the Payment Transaction tab under the Payment History screen.

Still, would like to see Public Mobile at least add a disclaimer on the Payment Transaction tab that simply states that applicable taxes are extra.
Seems to be a simple addition which may alleviate some repeated questions.

@HALIMACS The taxes do not go to Public they go to the government so IMO it best to not include them. Public operates across Canada and because of the different tax rates by not including them in the payment history it keeps everything uniform and simple.

Has it been 3 or maybe 4 days since the last “being overcharged” (by the tax) topic?
That said, including the tax in the online statement is likely to cause even more confusion I would think.

I can understand your frustration with this. With Public it’s impossible to be overcharged as it’s a prepaid service. The taxes are always extra and won’t be reflected in your self serve screen.

Applicable tax is not included in the amounts Public Mobile shows in their payment & charges summary.
I feel they should, as a lot of people probably have challenges reconciling amounts shown to be charged to payment cards vs what is displaying on one's self-serve account.
