@Smij   No use.  It just come with the system  (Khoros)    🙂

The Top x% badge would let others know which Rewards category you got on a particular month.  Other than that, not much use

That's about it.. You get the badge. There are no tangible benefits per se. It's just sort of a scoreboard of some of the things you have done and milestones you have accomplished. The badge system has been kind of messed up for awhile now where badges aren't being handed out for things like community participation etc. But they aren't tied to any bonuses or rewards or anything other then telling you if you top 50% community etc etc

@Smij - a feeling of accomplishment.

Badges don't really mean anything. Basically just giving users/members incentives to stay active and perhaps get more.

There are more given in the beginning. Maybe as an attention grabber.

But they are just virtual medals, after all.
