Bad service

My location is listed as a service area in BC, Canada. However the service here has been non-existent, I’ve been lucky to get one bar of service, is there any solutions? 
- iOS up to date 

- have tried restarting my phone 

- it was working well in other areas, but just doesn’t work well in my area

In cases of weak signa/weak coverage, your choices are limited.  Unless it's a temporary issue, improving coverage can take several years to implement.
