I am a new Public Mobile (Koodo) customer as of Nov6, 2018. Today, I had entered my credit card info in the Register for Autopay section of the Public Mobile backoffice and the info entered was exactly as it appears on my credit card statement. I then received a popup message that the credit card info was denied by the card issuer and to contact the card issuer. I then contacted Mastercard and their customer service rep asked me to attempt to enter the info again as she could not see any error done on my part nor is there any issues with my card with them. I then attempted a 2nd time to enter the credit card info and received the same denied card error popup message.
Any ideas of how to proceed other than to enter a different credit card that may result in the same error/denied message? The Mastercard Rep stated that since I entered the info correctly and as I have not outstanding issues with them that I should be contacting Public Mobile if I am rejected a 2nd time with the Autopay registration.

Thanks everyone for their input. I tried the various suggestions provided but it didn't seem to work. I spoke with a Koodo rep at a mall and he said that he had heard from other people that it may be better to use a Visa Card instead. I then used the Visa card and it worked. I had previously attempted to use 2 different Mastercards without success.

teh most common issues with cc are
1) ensure selfserve address and cc address match cc statement
2) omit a unit number/letter ie 123 street name instead of 123 b street name
3) omit last number of postal code if your statement has a space between first 3 digits

The website can be fussy. You can try different browser / clearing cache and sometimes private browsing / incognito mode. If it asks for address keep unit number blank. Try removing / adding a space from the postal code.
