I need some expert help. Lately, when I try to view images or videos on the amazon app while on mobile data, they just stall, take forever to load or don't show at all.
Once I switch to WiFi, or VPN or use the website, they load immediately. I've tried resetting network, changed DNS to google and CloudFlare. I put a Rogers SIM and issue resolved.
To summarize, images and videos don't load when using:
Amazon app and PM mobile data
They load fine when using:
Amazon app and Wi-Fi
Amazon app and VPN
Amazon website and PM mobile data (or any data).
Any suggestions? I'm using S25 Ultra

Sorry, I meant when I take out my PM SIM card and put my dad's Roger's SIM card, the amazon app works fine. So it can't be my phone or the amazon app by itself, it has something to do with the combination of the amazon app and PM. When I'm on PM data, I have no trouble using YouTube or Instagram.

Sorry, you stated Rogers SIM card. Did you mean public mobile sim card?

Found the setting to control type of data. Played around with it, no luck.

Hi, thanks for the suggestion. I can't find that exact setting, but I made sure the app can use data in the background and even if it's on data saver (which is not on).
When I put a Roger's SIM card, I have no issues. When I turn VPN on while being on PM data, I have no issues. I've tried Google and CloudFlare DNS.
It's a very strange issue that affects only Amazon shopping app and being on PM data.

Hello there
I somewhat had the same issue with my iPhone with Amazon. As I see you have the Samsung S25 Ultra, try this to see if it resolves your issues.
To give an app data access on your Samsung S25 Ultra, go to Settings > Apps, select the app, then Permissions, and allow specific data types. Then reboot.

I did reset the app then uninstalled and reinstalled. To be clear, this is the amazon shopping app and not Prime Video.

There could be some app specific settings that you enabled by mistake. I would fully uninstall the Prime Video app first and reinstall
