After transfer old number to Public cannot send/receive texts. I can make /receive phone calls.
Seems to be stuck on verifying number for activation for imessage to and from phone number

So I did send a DM to CS_Agent and they responded within an hour and said all was ported correctly but did something on the network anyway and asked me to do a network reset (I had done that several times already) but I did the reset again but my imessaging verified this time and all is working correctly now. Thank you to all who tried to help me.

this is an iPhone problem You just need to keep trying and wait. Sometimes it takes 10+ mins wait

Thank you...Tried all the suggested solutions... but phone stays stuck on verifying number in imessage setup... sent dm to CS_Agent... waiting for help

Transferred to Public Mobile yesterday. My Public Mobile sim card was placed in the phone after responding to the SMS text authorizing the number transfer from previous carrier

The port should be fine.
Just the set up for iMessage.
You can try rebooting your phone. If that does not work, you can try a network reset of phone (ie. the will erase any saved wifi passwords).
You can also try to logout of iMessage. Log back in.

Public says it can take up to 5 hours to port over. Maybe you need to wait? Also make sure your phone is using the new eSIM if you chose that.
