Hi

I would like to refer to a family member to Public Mobile.

Can I have the new sign up the same plan as I am having, $35 for 75gb, Canada,US, Mexico.

If yes, how do I proceed.

Thanks.

Downgrading to cheaper plans is indeed possible as I went from a pricier $39 to more economical $27 plan

In many cases, the above simply isn't true.  There isn't any way for any member to know which plans will be available to any specific customer.  The only member who would know which plans can be changed to is that specific customer.  Plans absolutely can be downgraded to lower priced plans in many cases.  In the case of the suggestion to take a $40 plan, customers on a price in that price range can very often go lower to $30 price plans, with the plans sometimes even being better than the plans that are offered to new customers.  For example, I have a $55/30 day plan and I can switch to plans priced as low as $30 per 30 days.  In another account that is on a $34/30 day plan that plan can also be downgraded to either a $30/30 day plan or even a $57/90 day plan.

It just marketing scheme.  The bonus will not expire.  It is part of the plan.  Just assume that the customer will get 60 GB (20 + 40 GB)  every 30 day payment cycle.

Just make sure they are aware that once they pick a plan, they can not downgrade the plan. They can only upgrade. So they may wish to start lower until a better plan comes out.

Furthermore, if they are porting in, get them signed up first. Make sure you get them a SIM card a head of time so they don't have to wait. Then, sign them up, make sure their line works 100% like can make and take calls, text messages and data works. If all of that works, then they can go into their account and port over. Just make sure they don't cancel the other account as it needs to be active to port.

Unfortunately, that plan is not available for activation for new customers

The nearest plan price to your present plan would be the $40 for 60 GB Canada-Mexico-US plan.
