Nobody has any add-ons in their Public Mobile accounts from when before Telus took over. The More is Merrier campagins that Public Mobile ran for a few different years occured several years after Telus purchased Public Mobile. Telus bought Public Mobile back in 2013.

use the mobile app and log in to your account > Usage Breakdown and you should see accurate details of your plan and all add-ons...even any remaining from past Holiday data and talk freebies.

Any remaining LD add-on calling rolls over to the next month so no expiry date.

can you tell us what was the exact message you got? if you have hear a message whenever you make a call, i think it is about 3G - VoLTE calling, not long distance calling. But tell us the exact message

But I got a message saying that I am at the end when I do have about 900 minutes of long distance left

Do you mean Reward Points for $20 with 20 points?
Login on your account on the PM app or website then go to Rewards tab-Browse Catalogue and redeem your points for different options you can pick from then click confirm button to complete your redemption.

what add-ons you have?
if it is data add-on, it will only kicks in when your monthly data limit is reached. you cannot control it if your monthly data not used up
if it is Long Distance add-on, you can used it to call selected countries. This is the country list:
Canada, United States, China, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, India, Italy, South Korea, Malaysia, Mexico, Poland, Portugal, Puerto Rico, Singapore, Spain, Thailand, United Kingdom, and Venezuela.
