I added US talk and data before I came to the US yesterday. now I’m prevented from logging on to check if its working even with proper email and password.

In the end I finally went in the app and that solved everything. Duh!

But can you use the service in US?
make sure you enable Roaming mobile data. Make sure your phone connects to one of T-Mobile or Verizon or AT&T. If it is not, change network connection from Automatic to manual and try all three
also, it could be easier to connect to 4G or LTE instead of 5G, so you might want to change the network mode to that as well

Are you getting an error message while trying to login? Recieving 2FA text to enter account?
Might want to try a simple reboot of your phone. Manually select a US Carrier (Tmobile, AT&T or Verizon). If one does not work, try a different carrier.
