Can public mobile retry activating my old phone number from previous provider now that the previous provider has reactivated it?

If you are an existing customer, you can use the "change number" option under your self-serve to port a number from another provider.
Just make sure you reply yes to the port authorization request by reinserting the old provider SIM card into your phone.
Once that is done, remove the old provider SIM card and reinsert your existing Public Mobile SIM card.
( again, the above is presuming you are an existing Public Mobile customer wanting to port your prior number from a recent other provider)

It sounds like you want your old number back after you ported over to another carrier now you would like it back to PM.
If your account was closed from your previous carrier then it is very slim that you can get it back less it is a Telus or Koodo carrier.
If it is then there is a good chance that you might get it back. Just contact a CS_Agent by private messaging or Chat on this Community page.

Hi Barbz,
I would not switch another number to public mobile. The service is terrible, just look at what is happening now.
I'm switching to freedom mobile next month.

If you have had your previous account reactivated you can port the number thru your self serve account if you can still reply YES to the PAT (porting authorization text) on your old SIM card. Otherwise talk to your previous provider on how to authorize the port verbally before using the change number feature in your self serve account.

To pre-verify your account include your full name, address, email, phone # and 4 digit acct pin #.

It would have to go through the proper porting methods. You can attempt to do so through your self serve I believe.
