New user to Public, trying to activate a line for my mom using an eSIM was hoping to use the QR version for ease of simplicity but I never got the email with the QR code.

Yes I understand that, but the eSIM has never been activated on a phone so it should be available via QR code still

An eSIM cannot be transferred; the activation must be done on the account holder’s phone.

Okay will we be charged twice now though? I originally started the process through the website. There is no way to just get a QR code version of the current eSIM?

 Hi @ WatermelonHead ,

If the activation is complete, you need to log in to the online account from your mother’s phone and purchase a new eSIM. The activation should have been done from your mother’s phone from the beginning.

 

Visit the 'Subscription & Add-ons' page in My Account
Select the option to purchase a new eSIM
Complete the payment, and a new eSIM will be issued to you.

You downloaded the Public Mobile app to her phone?
