it has been over 3 hours and I have not rec'd my SMS message so that i can switch from my old sim card to the new Public one

Is there a problem?

Your account with the old carrier must be active to port over. If you cancelled your service with them, you can’t port over and won’t receive the text.

@dpinto it could be a problem on your old provider side.  Try reboot your phone 

 

There is a team you can call and ask them to retrigger the process, I will message you the number.  Check your Community inbox
