How do I create an Account PIN for a new Account that was made within the last 48 hours? Under My Profile > Account Security Info > there is only a Voicemail Password option, unlike my other account which is a year old and has both showing.
When calling 611 it asks for the Account PIN, however I never set one up or picked one.. that was not an option nor part of the Activation Process and I can't find it anywhere in the settings now like I can my other account.
So thats two things now the Account PIN Password, and the Adding funds with a credit card which aren't options on my new account and I want to find out why?
Is the account to new, will I see these things show up over the course of the next couple days.
I seen someone post about this PIN issue once, but I really had no idea what they we're talking about till now. What is Public Mobile auto generating these PINs to be? I tried 1234 etc. No luck.
(Edit: @J_PM is the PIN taken away now for any specific reason, or is this a Glitch in the system causing it not to show up for New Activations?)

Absolutely, if and as soon as they reappear I will update everyone how long it took.
I wonder if I just won't get the option to Add funds with a Credit Card until the 72hours are up and I get my Friend Referral $10 Credit.. maybe that's holding things up but I highly doubt it.

I guess if you don't mind, see if we can tell when will those buttons reappear. 72 hours? one week? a month?

I've tried on Mobile App, Samsung Internet, Duck Duck Go, and Google Chrome on my Laptop. No matter which one I use, creating a PIN within My Profile Settings was not an option. Same goes for adding funds within the Payment section, no matter which engine I used I only had a 'Redeem Voucher' button, no button to use Credit/Visa Card to add Funds.
Nothing worked until following your life saving links. 🙏

what browser you were using? or you were using app?
try using a different browser, Try using Incognito mode, and try using different browsers on desktop
I wonder if it is browser cache or browser render issue.

Update: Following that link also allowed me to 'Add funds with Credit Card' to my New Account!! Yay!
Still doesn't show up as an option with the Vouchers in My Profile Settings afterwards, but if I just have to follow this link till they add it as a button that won't be a problem!

It doesn't appear to be an option to add Funds with a Credit Card on neither of my two new Accounts (both made within the last 48-hours.), I'll follow that link now and see if that works.

It seems rhe only solution to Update Account PIN on new Accounts will be to follow the link of which you provided me.
I'll have to save it and do that for a few other Accounts. I wonder what the default PIN code Public Mobile sets the new Accounts up with.. I know with Bell they would assign everyone their own code but it was easy because they'd put it as the last 4 of your phone number or something, so it wouldn't be hard to find out.. but Public just sets one with no hints, or options to change it unless we follow your link there..

Using your link worked and I got a text immediately after updating it telling me it was changed.
When calling 611, the PIN I set now works and it allows me to make Payment from a Credit card there as well. It just doesn't let me pick a specific amount, it gives you a list of options.
Fingers crossed in a few days the 'Add Funds with Debit/Credit' will show up on my new Account too.

I haven't specifically checked any of the other accounts I've opened for Referrals since the Update to see if it's a added feature yet, It just spiked me as odd seeing it missing from the account section so this is the first time I've investigated.
I remember it was you who asked me before if the Account PIN was still a part of the Activation Process and it is not.
During the Activation Process since the New Update, I haven't set anyone up with a 4 digit Account PIN like I used to on the old version.
The link you sent works, I logged into my new account and it let me update the PIN by following that link however 'Account PIN' still doesn't show up in the My Profile section even after updating it, so it seems to be only accessible via link and hasn't been added to the My Account Settings yet. I'll call 611 now to see if the PIN Change PIN I set was Registered.

We also wonder if new accounts created after the upgrade still have the PIN update on the My Account
You have helped friends couple time since this latest My Account upgrade, do they all missing PIN update option?
how about using this direct link, does it give you access to the PIN update page?
