I've only been with Public Mobile 2 months and this is the 2nd time I've had to update the Access Point Name.
Why does it need updating so often?
Is there a way that sets it permanently so I don't keep losing mms?
I've never had this issue with any other phone or service provider.

@skywatcher, I have to agree with what's been shared. My wife, daughter and I have been with PM since May, 2 of the phones are iPhones and one is a Samsung S10+, neither of us have had anything change with our APN which makes me think it must be your device

@skywatcher , I have been with this service since 2016. I think there was a slight change to the MMS APN settings once.

hi @skywatcher
the access point is something on your phone itself. If you have an older phone, it might have outdated APN settings
PM has made some APN changes, you can manually change it. However, after some major os or security update, the phone would get the APN from the internal memory again overwrite what you changed. So, this is more a phone problem and not something with PM
