ATT roaming not working in San Francisco, switch to T-mobile

Just a heads up that for me ATT wasn't working with the roaming add on. Calls just immediately ended upon hitting dial button. As i knew T-mobile was working last night i just had to switch off "automatically select network" and manually choose T-mobile. As usual that was a bit of an adventure cause android seems to have changed where to find those controls since the last time i tried! Gotta love updates that make you learn everything over again, eh?  NOT!

@Snodgett , if data and SMS was working on AT&T, it would confirm that either your phone does not support VoLTE or you are on the wrong side of the VoLTE whitelist.  What phone model are you using?

Do you know if your phone has been enabled for volte here yet? It sounds like not. So yes, only T-Mobile and their old 2G GSM can do talk. Text and data should be fine on either if you leave your networks on 4G LTE (if on 5G). Text will also work on 2G GSM.
