I bought this phone for my mom and it is working well for calls, receiving texts, and even browsing the internet. However, it can't send a text or receive any MMS. I've tried to set up the APN on the phone, but it appears to be its own OS and doesn't match any of Android, iOS, Blackberry, or Windows Phone.
The only setting I have made is add sp.mb.com to the Access point. These are the settings available on the phone:
Username - assume not set
Password - assume not set
Access point - sp.mb.com
Gateway - ?
Port - ?
Rename - names the connection ( I entered Public Mobile)
Set homepage - any URL can go here
Advanced settings:
> DNS address - ? (can only set IP address)
> Network type - set to HTTP (option of WAP)
There are none of the MMSC, MMS, MCC, or MNC settings available.
Can anyone help point me in the right direction?
Thanks

Try:
Name: Public Mobile
APN: sp.mb.com
Homepage: http://aliasredirect.net/proxy/mb/mmsc
Gateway: 74.49.0.18
port: 80
DNS: 9.9.9.9

To me, it looks like this phone has the APN settings for internet within the web browser.
At least for text messaging, that isn't ab APN issue. APN settings are only there to set up data. I'm not familiar with your model of phone, but open up your text mesaaging program and look for a SMSC/Message center settining. That should be set to +16475800172.
As for MMS, the APN does need to be set correctlt. There is like an area inside your messaging app for that.
