Hi all. I posted this question already in one of the other forums but thought I'd repost for greater exposure here (apologies if this is improper). I recently bought a nokia 3310 3g from the states. It's a single sim running on 850 and 1900 freq. and should work fine. voice and text are great. but i can't figure out how to configure the apn for data and mms. the canadian apn config site lists the data only for the intl version, not the us. i have a screen like this for access points:
Name:
Username:
Password:
Access point:
Gateway:
Port:
Set home page:
DNS address:
Network type:
IP type:
Found this on the AT&T site but don't know the pm equivalents: Name:NXTGENPHONE

Access point:NXTGENPHONE
Gateway: proxy.mobile.att.net
Port:80
Set home page:http://mmsc.mobile.att.net
DNS address:172.26.39.1

IP type:IPv4
Any help is MUCH appreciated

Great! For MMS, just add the rest of the settings:

@MacMe I did. In fact I think with some tinkering I've got data to work. Just working on MMS now.

If voice and text with, the phone if definitely compatible, at least on 3G. APN settings is needed for data only. Refer to this knowledge base post for apn setup.

For the data, did you try setting the Access Point Name to sp.mb.com?

@ShawnC13 it is. However, the single sim variant listed in the apn_canada site seems to be the international version as it gives different specs for the frequencies than mine. the us version operates on the same frequencies shown in the dual sim version on the site.
