ADDED MORE DATA AND NOT WORKING

I just purchased more data and it is not working. Is there something I need to do, or is there a time lapse before it resets?

@helenfroggatt which add on did you buy? Just making sure you didn't but a roaming one if you are in Canada...or vice versa if in USA (where roaming addon is required).

 

Try toggling in/out of airplane mode.

 

Also if you have another device Try our sim in into see if data works.

If you're on an Android device:
  1. Open your phone's Settings app.
  2. Tap Network & internet. Internet.
  3. Next to your carrier, tap Settings .
  4. Tap Data warning & limit. If needed, first turn on Set data warning.
  5. Tap Data warning.
  6. Enter a number. To switch between megabytes (MB) and gigabytes (GB), tap the Down arrow .
  7. Tap Set.

 

Something similar for apple I presume.

where do i go to check if the phone has data limit set?

@helenfroggatt  It should kick in automatically once your plan data allowance is all used up check

@helenfroggatt   data add-on should have no lag.  First try to reboot your phone

Also, make sure your phone does not have any data limit set.  If you have it set, disable it first

 

and also, check My Account using Incognito mode and confirm the correct addon was purchased and showed up there
