These are codes used by telus technical support to indicate the issue for which you are recieving an intercept message ( your call cannot be completed as dialed.....) The 8 identifies the main issue likely in your case that the issue is on your recipients side vs yours ( pm/telus). It could be as simple as the phone is off the hook to a loss of service.....try a different method of contact in the short term and try dialing later.

Well...for starters...it's 5:30 in the morning!! 🙂
Keep trying say every 15 minutes. Is the recipient still an active number?

Try dialing 1 infront of the area code. If that does not work then submit a ticket to a moderator by clicking on the question mark on the bottom right corner.

@Margie1 Try adding a 1 in front of the number. Of this fails contact the moderators and ask them to have the technical department look into it for you. There are 2 ways to contact the Moderator Team:
Once connected to Simon, you will be asked to log in again with your community user name and password. Please do, this allows you to continue and send your message.
- Check your private message sent box (click on the envelope top right of your screen) to make sure the message was sent.
- Keep an eye on the envelope top right of your screen. The mods answer will show up there. When it does, you will be asked to verify your self service account, with your password and login. Doing so allows the process to continue. Stay safe.
