I keep getting this error message on all of my outgoing calls. The numbers I'm calling are valid numbers. My Do Not Disturb is off and I am not on Airplane Mode. All my settings look fine. I have no idea if any incoming calls have been made but my phone ie eerily quiet right now. I'm getting fed up with Public Mobile and am starting to think it isn't worth the hassle.

@lulu72   PM is owned by Telus, so, when they escalate, it will go to telus tech.

Both incoming and outgoing calls are not working.  The CS agent looked into it and saw nothing that they could fix so they escalated the issue.

I'm not a new customer.

My husband uses an iphone XR with Public and has no problems

I'm using an iphone 13pro

So, you opened the ticket just around 3.5 hours ago and they already got it fixed ?

I was taking to service people earlier where we tried several fixes. None of them worked. I was starting to think I needed a new phone. After a while I had to leave and would tackle it again in the morning. Just a few minutes ago I received a call on my husband's phone. it was a techie fro Telus. They had pushed my problem up the line. In less than a minute my phone was up and running again. I asked him what the problem was and was told there was a system wide update last night that impacted some customers country wide. Apparently they tweeted the system. After turning my phone off and restarting, it all worked again. I'm back to being happy.

@nosnobunny - if you submitted a ticket with customer support, can you come back and share what an agent said the issue is? Since many other customers seem to be reporting similar issues, i'd be nice to know.

 is that just outgoing calls with the problem?  are incoming calls working?

 

There have been issue since yesterday for some people with both incoming and outgoing calls. 

 

If it is just outgoing calls with issue, try to reboot the phone once.  If still fail, try to change to 3G only and see if it connects to the network at all with such settings

 

If both incoming and outgoing calls are not working, I suggest you to open a ticket with PM support and let them aware you are one of those, too
