Re: 4G vs 5G

I'm more interested in the capacity of the 5G network vs LTE.  When I'm making a call it's usually important, otherwise I'd text. If my call is less likely to disconnect because of 5G's ability to sustain more users I'm more likely to use it.  The question then is just because my phone says 5G is it actually using 5G when my plan is supposed to only be LTE/4G.  (It was the same question when I only had a 3G plan here.)

Battery life is a whole other topic with 5G...

@on2wheels Your plan just determines the speed they throttle you at, not what networks you can connect to. All Public Mobile users can access the 3G, 4G, and 5G networks as available, and with a compatible device. Even those on 3G plans can still use th 5G network, but they'll be throttled at a much slower speed.
